Let's Build a Carton

1 How much do cartons cost?
That’s a great question and certainly a very important factor to consider when planning your product packaging. To get the most accurate estimated cost you will need to supply us with the following:
Size of the item going in the box. If you don’t already have a good ruler check this out.
How many will you need? We strongly recommend a minimum of 1000 but sometimes 500 will still give you a unit cost you can live with.
Will this print, foil stamp, emboss (or deboss) or be blank?
What type of paper would you like?
2 Design Process
The next step is to send us your product which goes into the carton. It can be empty but we need the actual item so we can create a sample box to check for fit. We will mail you a cut sample box along with paper samples and possibly other ink or foil swatches depending on the process to be used.
Once you receive the sample and approve the carton size we will email you a die-line file from which you can create your art to print on the carton. Forward your art file to us as two PDF’s, one which shows both the die line and the art and the second to show just the art.
After you submit your art our prepress department will review the art and alert you if there are any possible issues with the art. If all is OK we'll email a 3D digital proof for you to make a final check of position, art, spelling, and grammar. We will also confirm the final price with you.

3 Production
Once the proof is approved we get to work bringing your design to life. Our turnaround time from once we've received your proof appoval is seven to ten business days. Durning our busiest seasons cartons with foil or embossing/debossing may take slightly longer. Shipping anywhere in the United States will be arranged with you or, if possible, local prickup from our Wyckoff, NJ studio is available.
